Ginger Bundt Cake

 
 
 
 

Ingredients

Wet

  • 2-1/4 cup applesauce

  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp vanilla

Dry

  • 1-1/4 cup AP flour

  • 3/4 c wheat flour

  • 1cup sugar

  • 2 Tbsp candy ginger

  • 2 tsp baking soda

  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

  • 1-1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (heaping)

Process

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350° F

  2. Combine and stir the wet ingredients

  3. Combine and mix/whisk the dry ingredients, add the dry to the wet, stir just until fully incorporated, no more

  4. Pour mixture in bundt pan, place in the middle of the oven and bake 45-60 minutes until done
